Virtualization Engineer

We're looking for a talented Virtualization Engineer to join our team. This position will support a complex government client and will require designing, deploying, and managing virtual environments to optimize resource utilization, improve scalability, and ensure secure, efficient IT operations.

Work Location:
Hybrid – A mix of onsite and remote work.

Clearance: 
Must be US citizen with the ability to obtain a Secret security clearance.

Primary Roles and Responsibilities: 
  • Design and manage virtualized environments (VMware, Hyper-V, etc.).
  • Support virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) deployments and administration.
  • Optimize performance, scalability, and capacity planning.
  • Troubleshoot virtualization issues and ensure high availability.
  • Implement security and disaster recovery solutions for virtual environments.
Required Knowledge and Experience:
  • 5–7 years of experience with VMware, Hyper-V, or Citrix environments.
  • Strong understanding of VDI and enterprise virtualization strategies.
  • Experience with server consolidation and resource optimization.
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills:
  • Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related discipline.
  • VMware Certified Professional (VCP) or equivalent.
  • CompTIA Security+ certification.
