We're looking for a talented Virtualization Engineer to join our team. This position will support a complex government client and will require designing, deploying, and managing virtual environments to optimize resource utilization, improve scalability, and ensure secure, efficient IT operations.
Work Location:
Hybrid – A mix of onsite and remote work.
Clearance:
Must be US citizen with the ability to obtain a Secret security clearance.

We're looking for a talented Virtualization Engineer to join our team. This position will support a complex government client and will require designing, deploying, and managing virtual environments to optimize resource utilization, improve scalability, and ensure secure, efficient IT operations.

Primary Roles and Responsibilities:
- Design and manage virtualized environments (VMware, Hyper-V, etc.).
- Support virtual desktop infrastructure (VDI) deployments and administration.
- Optimize performance, scalability, and capacity planning.
- Troubleshoot virtualization issues and ensure high availability.
- Implement security and disaster recovery solutions for virtual environments.
- 5–7 years of experience with VMware, Hyper-V, or Citrix environments.
- Strong understanding of VDI and enterprise virtualization strategies.
- Experience with server consolidation and resource optimization.
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, Computer Science, or related discipline.
- VMware Certified Professional (VCP) or equivalent.
- CompTIA Security+ certification.
