Storage & Backup Engineer

We're looking for a talented Storage & Backup Engineer to join our team. This position will support a complex government client and will require design, implementation, and management of data storage and backup solutions to ensure data integrity, availability, and disaster recovery across enterprise systems.

Work Location:
Hybrid – A mix of onsite and remote work.

Clearance: 
Must be US citizen with the ability to obtain a Public Trust / Secret / Top-Secret security clearance.

Primary Roles and Responsibilities: 
  • Design, implement, and manage enterprise storage and backup solutions.
  • Monitor storage performance and capacity planning.
  • Ensure reliable disaster recovery and business continuity solutions.
  • Maintain data retention and security compliance policies.
  • Troubleshoot storage and backup-related incidents.
Required Knowledge and Experience:
  • 5–8 years of experience with enterprise storage and backup systems.
  • Knowledge of SAN, NAS, and cloud-based storage technologies.
  • Experience with backup platforms (Commvault, NetBackup, Veeam).
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related discipline.
  • Vendor certifications (NetApp, Dell EMC, Commvault, or similar).
  • CompTIA Security+ or CISSP certification.
