Configuration Management Specialist

We're looking for a talented Configuration Management Specialist to join our team. This position will support a complex government client and will require accurate tracking, documentation, and control of system configurations and changes to maintain integrity, compliance, and operational efficiency.

Work Location:
Hybrid – A mix of onsite and remote work.

Clearance: 
Must be US citizen with the ability to obtain a Secret security clearance.

Primary Roles and Responsibilities: 
  • Develop and maintain configuration management baselines.
  • Track and document changes to IT systems across the lifecycle.
  • Ensure compliance with federal standards and support audits.
  • Coordinate configuration control boards (CCB) and document decisions.
  • Support ITIL and DevOps processes through proper configuration practices.
Required Knowledge and Experience:
  • 5+ years of configuration management experience in IT or systems environments.
  • Strong knowledge of CM tools such as ServiceNow, Jira, or Remedy.
  • Familiarity with ITIL/ISO standards.
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
  • ITIL v4 Certification.
  • CompTIA Security+ or equivalent certification.
