Asset Management Specialist

We're looking for a talented Asset Management Specialist to join our team. This position will support a complex government client and will require you to oversee the tracking, organization, and optimization of a company’s assets—such as equipment, software, and inventory—to ensure efficient use, compliance, and cost-effectiveness.

Work Location:
Hybrid – A mix of onsite and remote work.

Clearance: 
Must be US citizen with the ability to obtain a Secret security clearance.

Primary Roles and Responsibilities: 
  • Maintain and optimize IT asset lifecycle management, including hardware, software, and licensing compliance.
  • Ensure accurate asset inventories and reporting for government audits.
  • Support procurement, deployment, and disposal of IT assets in alignment with policy.
  • Collaborate with finance and IT teams to improve cost efficiency and utilization.
  • Develop and maintain asset management documentation and procedures.
Required Knowledge and Experience:
  • 5+ years of experience in IT asset or inventory management.
  • Strong knowledge of asset lifecycle, licensing compliance, and IT procurement processes.
  • Proficiency with asset management tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Flexera, SCCM).
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Business, or related field.
  • ITIL v4 Foundation Certification.
  • CompTIA Security+ or equivalent.
  • Experience supporting federal government clients.
