  • Exceed expected quality of service on maintenance & deployment of upgrades, enhancements and modifications to systems
  • Support ServiceNow ticket queue requests and document resolutions completely and accurately
  • Follow best practices to adhere to enterprise architecture.
  • Support projects in various stages of engineering, testing, or implementing Active Directory solutions.
  • Collaborate with Knowledge Management teams to draft operational documentation
  • Collaborate with Engineering and Problem Management teams to perform Root Cause Analysis
  • Able to analyze alerts from various monitoring tools and take appropriate actions during troubleshooting
  • Must have demonstrated a high level of problem analysis and resolution skills
  • Responsible for escalations to management for any SEV1 issues
  • Troubleshoot Active Directory problems associated with ADFS 2.x and 3.x
  • Administer, run, and maintain client’s Windows server infrastructure in production
  • Develop and maintain installation and configuration procedures; contribute to and maintain system standards, policies, and procedures
  • Maintains system performance by performing system monitoring and analysis, performance tuning, troubleshooting system hardware, software, and operating system issues
  • Ensure correct installation, configuration, use, and maintenance of our windows server infrastructure
  • Install new/rebuild existing servers and configuration hardware, peripherals, services, settings, directories, storage, etc. in accordance with standard and project/operational requirements.
  • Research and recommend automated approaches for system administration tasks where possible.
  • Create and Maintain SOP’s and train junior staff
  • Extensive knowledge in all facets of AD-related tasks and activities, as well as with Domain Controllers (from an architecture, engineering, deployment, operational and support perspective)
  • Expertise in Active Directory and the associated Microsoft product line and have a solid understanding of Identity Management
  • Scripting (the ability to author and edit scripts; such as PowerShell, VBS, etc.)
  • Experience with Microsoft applications and technologies that are within the scope of this role, such as (but not limited to):
    • Microsoft Advanced Group Policy Management (AGPM)
    • Microsoft Distributed File System (DFS)
    • Microsoft Distributed File System Replication (DFSR)
    • Microsoft Unified Access Gateway (UAG)/Microsoft Web Application Proxy (WAP)
    • Active Directory Federated Services (ADFS)
    • Microsoft File/Print services
  • Experience with VMware ESXi 5.5, 6.x
  • Strong experience with Windows server
  • Experience working with application vendors
  • Hands on experience to troubleshoot hardware issues with HP servers
  • Understanding of server architectures, hardware, RAID
  • Knowledge of HA computing and networking. (e.g. Microsoft Clustering, load balancing, TCP/IP, DNS)
  • Understanding of application & OS security, including virus scan management and patching
Education and Certifications
  • BS or equivalent
  • 6 years of related experience
  • Microsoft Certifications
