Job Description and Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for technical client communication for the Network Support team and escalations to both client and management team as necessary
  • Responsible for the daily service review status with the client. Should be able to clearly articulate the technical issues and other relevant details to the client during these calls
  • Managing the relationship with key business customers, developing an understanding of their business needs and priorities, and delivering software solutions that meet those business needs.
  • Providing input to the Product Owner/Business Sponsor on the product strategy and vision, and giving feedback on the content and prioritization of the Product Backlog
  • Being available to provide advice and assistance to teams on technical difficulties that arise in the course of doing their work
  • Identifying issues to teams that they might overlook, such as scalability, performance, or security.
  • Providing mentorship, career development advice, skills development and training, and overall guidance to team members and Supervisors.
  • Leading the recruitment and hiring of new team members, with the active involvement and input of existing team members
  • Must have experience in installing, configuring, and migrating Juniper Switches, Routers, Security devices along with the supporting OS software.
  • Must have experience in troubleshooting, performance tuning, capacity planning, user management, client communication across multiple technology platforms.
  • Must have minimum of 5 years of administrative working experience with each of the Juniper technology sections below (Routing, Switching, Security, and Software):
  • Routing
    • T-series: Multichassis IP/MPLS Core Routers
    • MX Series: Edge routers
    • M Series: Combined IP/MPLS edge routers
    • PTX Series: Packet transport routers
    • ACX Series: Universal access routers
  • Switching
    • EX Series: Enterprise Ethernet switches
    • WLAN Products: Controllers, access points and software
    • QFX Series: Enterprise Ethernet switches
  • Security
    • SRX Series: Security products for data centers and branch locations
  • Software
    • Junos Operating System
    • Junos Space: Service Oriented Architecture development environment for network applications
    • Contrail: Brand of software defined networking software and networking controllers
Education and Experience:
  • Must have more than 10 years of IT network operations management experience.
